There are blade chops, loin chops, rib chops, and shoulder chops, as well as the iconic french cut rib chop. With so many to chose from how do you know which one to select?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Loin Chop<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>$18.99 per pound, or approx. $6.75 per package, average weight 0.35 lb\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/https:\/\/mistylanefarm.com\/product\/lamb-loin-chops\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/https:\/\/mistylanefarm.com\/product\/lamb-loin-chops\/\"><strong>Loin chops<\/strong><\/a> are one of the most readily available cuts at the grocery store and butcher shop, loin chops are lean, tender and delicious! With their\u00a0 attractive \u201cT\u201d shaped bone that runs through the meat, loin chops (sometimes called T-bone chops) are simple to prepare. Season with a dry rub, or marinate 4 to 6 hours, then grill, broil or pan-fry the chops for a delicious meal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rib Chop<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>$18.99 per pound, or approx. $9.50 per package, average weight 0.50 lb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mistylanefarm.com\/product\/lamb-rib-chops\/\"><strong>Rib chops <\/strong><\/a>can be french cut in the classic shape with the long bone sticking out of a more circular cut of meat or left un-frenched which leaves a bit more meat and fat on the bone. Rib chops are best when cooked to medium-rare, around 130\u00b0 F. Allow them to rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Currently we are sold out of french cut chops, but we do have a couple of nice racks of lamb that could be cut into chops!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shoulder Chops\/Steaks or Blade Chops<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>$11.99 per pound, or approx. $5.99 per package, average weight 0.50 lb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mistylanefarm.com\/product\/lamb-blade-chops\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/mistylanefarm.com\/product\/lamb-blade-chops\/\"><strong>Shoulder chops<\/strong><\/a> (also called shoulder steaks or blade chops, depending on the butcher) require a shorter amount of cooking time than other cuts. They aren&#8217;t as tender as a loin or rib\u00a0chop, but juicier, making them an economical and flavorful choice for quick and easy meals.
