We hear spring peepers down by the pond and a lilac bush by our back porch has green buds. Mom had crocus already at her house (2o miles away). None here yet, but then I may not have any. Should be an exciting first spring on the farm as only God knows what is coming up!
Welcome to our blog. This is our first spring on our hobby farm in Michigan. We have approximately 37 acres, most we rent to another farmer, but we’re looking to get started.
Right now we only have two barn cats, grape vines, asparagus along the fence rows, some wild honey bees, old apple trees and deer a plenty. We hope to post frequently, so you can follow our progress.
